What is the MPA Consulting Club?


The MPA Consulting Club is a student run organization for integrated and traditional MPA students at the University of Texas in Austin, who are interested in the consulting and advisory industry.




How do I join?


1) Fill out our interest form 2) Join our Facebook group 3) Come to our next meeting 4) Pay dues Easy as 1, 2, 3, 4!




What types of meetings do you have?


We have professional skills development meetings as well as socials. Our professional workshop meetings are designed to enhance our members' skills with activities like case studies, excel workshops, LinkedIn development, interviewing techniques, and much more. Our socials are designed to keep our network strong and develop teamwork skills.




Do I have to pay dues?


Yes! Our dues are $25 per year or $15 per semester! Please contact Xinyi Lu for payment.

What benefits does being a member offer?


Being a member gives you access to our case study resources, workshops, resume books, and networking opportunities. Members are also given a case study partner to run cases with on their own time. Also, once a year members participate in a consulting trek where we get to visit the offices of several different consulting firms to get a real taste of the work they do.




What's the difference between the facebook page and facebook group? Which do I join?


The facebook page is mainly for employers and outsider users, while the facebook group is for internal organization. As a student member, join our facebook group!
